Our Mission
At Bregdogg, our mission is to foster the love of the greatest game!
I've loved baseball my entire life! The skill, athleticism, strategy, physics, statistics, spirit, and purity of the sport are unmatched by any others.
Playing as a youth along side my friends, and with my loving, patient , and supportive father often as my coach, I learned many skills about life, how to be a good, kind, loyal, hard-working, honest person, and be part of something bigger as a member of a team.
Although not the most skilled player myself as a kid I found joy in trying my hardest and supporting my team mates any way I could! I wasn't the biggest slugger, but my little league OBP was up there... I did OK, just was never destined for the "Big Show"!
I've been a Red Sox fan since the beginning, born and raised on that dirty water! I've ridden the ups and downs since the early 80's to today and find myself re-invigorated this season with the addition of Alex Bregman!!
I am also a "Bregman"...that's my last name too, and there aren't that many of us out there! It's not the most common surname, so when a superstar with the same name as me joined my ride or die team this season, I really felt like the stars had aligned and Sox fans were really in for something special!
My nickname given me by my friends has always been Breg, Breggy, and most beloved of all...
BREGDOGG
I would consider it one of the greatest honors in my life for #2 to share this nickname with me! We're not related (as far as I know), but I feel like we're kindred spirits or something!
So, let's make it happen! Help me add BREGDOGG as yet another nickname to one who embodies so many the greatest aspects of our national pastime!
Now let's watch him drop some Breggy-Bombs! GO SOX!
